Appearance - Dark-coppery with a pronounced bloom, stylish and well-made leaves with delicate tips
Aroma - Decidedly sweet with clear woody and toasty layers, not too different from ripened prunes and hints of peaches
Taste - Smooth and supple cup with a pleasing sweetness all round the palate, with exquisite notes of hazelnuts and hyacinths around the edges and ephemeral aroma of muscat grapes that lingers long after

What makes Second Flush Teas highly-prized around the world?

Post the first tea harvest called the 'First Flush', Second Flush follows between May to June. The tea leaves are picked and are characterized as well-rounded, fruity and mature, flavored tea leaves. Tea brewed from these leaves is less astringent and more improved than the First Flush.

Are the flavors in the tea natural?

100% yes! Some of the ingredients are also organic.

What is the shelf life of your products?

All VAHDAM® India Teas have a shelf-life of 3 years from the ‘Date of Picking/Harvest.’ The ‘Date of Expiry’ is mentioned at the bottom of all our boxes.

How are the Teas packaged?

After sourcing our teas directly from plantations within hours of harvest, we bring them to our state-of-the-art tea facility in New Delhi, India. The teas then go through rigorous rounds of cleaning, sorting, quality testing to remove any impurities/dust/foreign particles. Post 10+ quality checkpoints for leaf size, aroma, liquor, flavors, etc., these are vacuum-packaged in opaque aluminum-lined bags using sophisticated machinery. These vacuum bags are then stored in a dehumidified, temperature-controlled warehouse which ensures that the teas remain garden-fresh and maintain their character. Further, required quantities are packed in smaller vacuum-sealed packs which are boxed in the retail boxes and then sent over to our own delivery centers located in various parts of the world.

Genuine muscatel fragrance and taste that teleports you to Darjeeling instantly! Everything, starting from the fragrance, taste, and aftertaste was amazing. Also, excellent job on packaging and post-sales service.

2021 Margaret's Hope 2nd Flush Muscatel

Just received, first cup brewed. Black. A seriously regal tea, reserved nutty notes with the late bloom of muscatel fruitiness. Takes me back to Darjeeling's of years ago, in flavour profile and length of palate. Just brilliant, and truly fresh. Also 4 days delivery from India to Australia, in these Covid times, outstanding.
