    Is it prone to rusting?

    The infuser is made of FDA-Approved Stainless Steel and hence is rust-free. It also does not alter the taste of your beverage.

    How much tea does it scoop?

    Depending on the type of tea that one is brewing, this teaspoon scoops 1 - 3 grams of tea. (White teas have low density, hence occupy a larger space. While, Chai teas have the highest density, and hence occupy less space)

    Is the mesh fine enough to filter out herbs and spices?

    This infuser has a micro-mesh filter that can be used for any type of infusion. You can also use the infuser with loose-leaf teas of any kind. Note : Ultra-fine debris like Filter coffee powder remnants, fine powdered spices like cinnamon powder, or ultra-fine tea dust might escape into the cup. Apart from these, the mesh filter will filter out all other ingredients while brewing tea.

    What is the material of the infuser? Is it safe to use citrus fruits or spices in the infuser?

    The Square Tea Infuser is made of 100% 18/8 Food grade stainless steel, including the chain and hook. Besides using a variety of tea leaves, it is absolutely safe to use a variety of other ingredients like citrus fruits and spices of any kind, which will not alter the taste of your tea.

    Is it dishwasher safe?

    Yes, it is dishwasher safe. Just empty out the leaves and put it in the dishwasher.

    How many tablespoons of tea does the infuser hold?

    Tablespoon measurements might vary anywhere between 3 teaspoons to 4 teaspoons accounting for a tablespoon. Typically, our Square Tea Infuser holds anywhere between 2.5 grams (0.9 oz) to 5 grams (1.75 oz) of tea. Depending on the density and the type of tea, this amount may slightly differ. White Teas have low density, occupying a larger space. While Chai teas have the highest density, hence occupy less space.
